ALH Building Systems is a premier truss and panel operation based in the Fort Wayne, Indiana area and one of the largest in the Midwest.
**This position is onsite in Markle, IN, this is not a remote position.**
Position Overview:
- Prepare complete, accurate shop drawings for large wood framed projects such as motels, apartments, college dorms, and assisted living buildings, blending skillful drafting methods.
- Review and manage electronic documents received from clients, consultants, and company contacts.
- Consult with internal and external contacts as needed to coordinate and complete designs.
- Vast array of building types to keep the job exciting and fun.
- Work with pleasant team members in a professional and comfortable environment.
- Flexible schedule.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 2 years CAD drafting or detailing experience.
- Ability to effectively interpret building construction drawings.
- Ability to identify problems in the plans and develop solutions.
- Working knowledge of framing lumber sizes and dimensions.
Pay: $22.00 - $29.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 40.0 per week
