Position Summary: Long Term Contract
The Project Manager / Scrum Master is responsible for planning, coordinating, and driving the successful execution of product development, platform modernization, and engineering initiatives. This role works closely with Product Owners, Architects, Engineering, QA, and DevOps teams to ensure predictable delivery, remove execution roadblocks, and foster Agile best practices across multiple Scrum teams.
Key Responsibilities
Agile Delivery
- Lead Scrum ceremonies including Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Reviews, and Retrospectives.
- Manage sprint execution and ensure timely delivery of committed work.
- Track sprint progress, velocity, burndown, and team capacity.
- Identify and remove delivery impediments.
Project Coordination
- Develop and maintain project plans, sprint schedules, and release timelines.
- Coordinate work across Engineering, QA, DevOps, Product, and Business teams.
- Track project milestones, dependencies, risks, and action items.
- Ensure deliverables are completed on schedule.
Stakeholder Communication
- Provide regular project status updates to leadership and stakeholders.
- Facilitate communication between technical and business teams.
- Escalate risks and issues with recommended mitigation plans.
- Coordinate cross-functional meetings and follow up on action items.
Backlog & Release Management
- Work with Product Owners to maintain a healthy and prioritized backlog.
- Support backlog refinement and sprint planning activities.
- Coordinate release planning and production deployments.
- Track release readiness and post-release activities.
Delivery Governance
- Maintain RAID logs, project documentation, and delivery dashboards.
- Monitor project KPIs including schedule, quality, and team performance.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives and Agile process maturity.
Required Qualifications
- 5β8 years of Project Management or Scrum Master experience.
- Experience managing Agile software development projects.
- Strong understanding of Scrum and Agile methodologies.
- Experience coordinating cross-functional engineering teams.
- Excellent communication, facilitation, and organizational skills.
- Experience using Azure DevOps, Jira, or similar Agile tools.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with .NET, Azure, SaaS products, or enterprise software.
- Exposure to DevOps, CI/CD, QA, and release management processes.
- Experience working with distributed offshore/onshore teams.
- CSM, PSM, or PMP certification is a plus.
Pay: $50.00 - $60.00 per hour
