What are the responsibilities and job description for the Day Nurse Part Time/Full Time position at Algona Manor?
The Algona Manor Care Center is seeking Full Time/ Part Time R.N. to add to our team.
The general responsibilities of the job include but are not limited to:
Participates in the planning and evaluating of resident needs, condition and care and assists in developing nursing care plans
Observes, records and reports pertinent observations of residents' physical and emotional condition.
Administers oral, rectal, topical and injectable medications
Maintains necessary resident records
Schedules necessary lab work and draw necessary lab work
Responsible for the admission, discharge, or transfer of residents
Responsible for work assignments of individual in the nursing area with authority to make changes and revise duties in order to meet resident needs
Responsible for seeing call lights are answered in a timely manner
Make daily rounds to evaluate emotional and physical needs of resident
Responsible for special skin care needs, special dietary needs, urological and restorative appliances
Responsible for blood glucose tests
Note and receive any physician orders, paperwork from the doctors or radiology/lab department

Pay: $35.00 - $40.00 per hour
