A world-leading $60BN global systematic hedge fund is looking for a Full Stack Web Engineer to be a part of its multi-billion technology trading platform. They are looking for a candidate with strong technology experience across multiple disciplines, UI development, and data visualization. Web Engineers will be a part of the team responsible for building interfaces and backend processes that support Algo Developers and Traders in overseeing trading processes and
improving strategies.
About the Position: As a Full Stack Core Engineer, you will build UIs and backend processes that support trading operations, risk assessment, and strategy research. You'll work on projects that generate and interpret complex trading strategies at scale. You'll collaborate with Algo Developers, Core Engineers, and other teams to create data pipelines and visualization tools, with the opportunity to generate your own ideas for new features or products.
Skills Required:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Solid backend coding practices with experience building well-tested, reliable systems
- Experience with coding, debugging, and problem solving skills
- Knowledge of Linux operating systems
- Proficiency with Typescript, React, and Redux for building web applications
- Experience with Python and/or C for backend services and data processing
- Experience with JavaScript/Groovy
- Strong collaboration skills and willingness to work with people who challenge you
