What are the responsibilities and job description for the Pilates Instructor position at Algn Pilates?
We're looking for passionate, skilled teachers who want to grow.
Whether you just completed your training or you're a few years in, we're looking for instructors who are ready to refine their craft, build community, and be part of something bigger than a class schedule.
You don't need to know everything yet, but you need to be curious, coachable, and committed to becoming an excellent teacher.
CERTIFICATIONS EXPERIENCE
- Pilates certification appropriate to the formats you'll teach. Comprehensive certification strongly preferred.
- Mat Pilates or foundational certifications considered for the right candidate.
- Additional certifications a plus: Classical, Contemporary, Anatomy, Pre/Postnatal, etc.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
- Able to deliver clear, confident cueing.
- Comfortable with beat-based teaching and creating great playlists.
- Comfortable using verbal, visual, and consent-based hands-on cueing.
- Professional, reliable, kind, grounded, and enthusiastic.
- Musically inclined; you understand how music elevates the experience.
- Relationship-driven: you remember names, notice regulars, and make people feel seen.
- Open and receptive to coaching and continued learning.
TEACHING OPPORTUNITIES
We offer multiple teaching pathways to honor different strengths and styles. Instructors may teach in one track or across several, depending on training, ability, and passion:

- Heated Mat Classes
- Private training opportunities may be available based on certification, experience, and studio clearance.

COMPENSATION BENEFITS
Pay: $40–$60 per hour, based on experience, training, certifications, and teaching scope.
