As an Incoming Quality Inspector, you’ll play a critical role in ensuring the materials entering our facility meet the engineering, safety, and performance standards our customers depend on. From verifying certifications to inspecting ASDI-fabricated components, your work helps keep production running smoothly and prevents defects before they begin.

🔧 What you’ll do
- Inspect incoming raw materials, purchased components, and ASDI-fabricated parts.
- Conduct in-process inspections of sub-assemblies and finished products using established criteria.
- Perform visual inspections to verify material finishes, certifications, and other requirements.
- Use measurement tools (calipers, micrometers, gauges, etc.) to confirm dimensions and tolerances.
- Manage and prioritize inspection workload based on need dates, aging material, and production schedules.
- Document inspection results accurately in QCBD, Proman, and other quality system portals.
- Maintain all inspection records, certifications, and traceability documentation.
- Clearly identify accepted, rejected, and quarantined materials.
- Enter and track nonconformance reports; collaborate with Buyers, Planners, and Engineering for resolution.
- Escalate recurring issues to the Supply Chain Manager and Engineering.
- Support root-cause investigations, audits, corrective actions, and continuous improvement initiatives.
💡 What makes you a great fit
- High School Diploma or GED (technical training or certification preferred).
- 2 years of experience in quality inspection, manufacturing, or a related field.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and specifications.
- Experience using inspection tools such as calipers, micrometers, gauges, and other measurement equipment.
- Strong understanding of quality systems, documentation practices, and safety procedures.
- Familiarity with QCBD or similar quality management software (preferred).
- Excellent attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and sound judgment.
- Reliable team player with strong communication and organizational skills.
