Key Responsibilities
- Assist with a range of commercial finance matters, including asset-based lending transactions.
- Draft and review loan documentation and related financing agreements.
- Support the management and execution of loan transactions from initial structuring through closing.
- Conduct legal research and analysis related to financing arrangements and regulatory considerations.
- Work closely with senior lawyers and clients to ensure transactions progress efficiently and meet client objectives.
- Participate in transaction management, due diligence processes, and preparation of closing documentation.
Required Experience & Qualifications
- 2–4 years of commercial finance experience within a law firm environment.
- Hands-on experience supporting asset-based finance transactions.
- Experience drafting loan documents and assisting in the management of financing transactions.
- Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
- Active membership in the New York State Bar.
