Counter Position – Job Description
The counter person job role at Alfy’s involves working directly with the customers at the front end of the store. Our counter personnel are responsible for, but not limited to, the following job responsibilities:
- Take orders in-person and over the phone
- Ring up customers which includes managing a till and cash handling
- Take product out to the customer’s table when dine in, or at the counter for takeout.
- Oversee the cleanliness of the dining room, including bussing tables, sweeping, etc.
- Oversee the salad bars, which means cleaning, stocking, and general oversight.
