We’re looking for a reliable, mechanically inclined, and customer-focused Patio Heater Service Technician to join our growing team. If you love working outdoors and solving mechanical puzzles we want to talk to you.
What You’ll Do (The Day-to-Day)
As a Service Technician, you’ll be the face of our company on the road in a van we supply. Your main mission is to diagnose, repair, and maintain various gas and electric outdoor heating systems.
· Diagnose & Repair: Troubleshoot issues with commercial and residential patio heaters.
· Preventive Maintenance: Keep customers heaters in top-working condition, reducing downtime.
· Installations: Assemble and install high-end freestanding, ceiling and wall-mounted, and flush-mount outdoor patio heating systems as part of a team.
· Customer Service: Explain technical issues to clients clearly and recommend maintenance tips or upgrades with a friendly, professional attitude.[EK1]
· Documentation: Track parts used, log completed jobs and accurately invoice customers.
What We’re Looking For (Qualifications)
You don’t need to have "patio heater" specifically on your resume—if you have a solid foundation in plumbing, electric, or appliance repair. We will train you on the specifics!
· Experience: 1–3 years of experience in apartment maintenance, appliance repair, commercial kitchen equipment repair, HVAC, plumbing, propane/natural gas servicing, electrical, or a similar mechanical trade.
· Technical Knack: Comfort working with basic hand tools, multimeters, etc.
· The Basics: A valid driver’s license with a clean driving record (you'll be driving a company vehicle).
· Physical Capability: Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, climb ladders, and work outdoors in various weather conditions.
· Language – English speaking and writing is required. If you speak a little Spanish, that will be helpful, but it is not required.
