Thousands of customers have enjoyed the freshly-baked bread, rolls, cakes, donuts, and almost every baked food imaginable which has contributed to Nickles’ famous reputation as one of America’s finest bakeries. Alfred Nickles operates about 20 distribution branches and three modern bakeries in Ohio, West Virginia and Pennsylvania.

Major Duties:
· Transport and deliver freight over long distances in a safe, efficient, timely and legal manner.
· Hook and unhook trailers: secure freight.
· Load and unload trailers and perform frequent lifting, pulling, pushing and carrying freight.
· Complete all necessary paperwork and maintain records required under State and Federal Laws and Regulations.
· Ensure that all operations are in compliance with State and Federal Laws and Regulations.
· Represent the Company and the Trucking Industry in a professional manner.
Qualifications:
· Valid Commercial Driver’s License.
· Knowledge of all applicable DOT Regulations and Motor Carrier Safety Regulations.
· Meet all medical and safety standards required by the DOT and pass required drug/alcohol test.
· Available for Driving Day or Night 7 Days/week.
· Able to squat, crouch, and reach as needed to handle freight, able to enter and exit the vehicles cab numerous times each day.
· Able to push freight up to 1000 lbs. on a dolly or cart and able to move freight up to 125 lbs. without mechanical aid.
· Able to frequently carry freight from 1 to 125 lbs.
· Able to load and unload trailers of product weighing up to 50,000 lbs.
· Able to hook and unhook trailers and secure loads.
