What are the responsibilities and job description for the On Site Sampler position at Alfred H Knight Group?
Shift Pattern: 12 hour shift system basis, working a mix of days and nights.
WHAT IS ON OFFER
Alfred H Knight has an exciting opportunity for a Sampler to join the team in Selby. This individual will be functionally responsible to the Supervisors for the day-to-day operation of carrying out on site sampling of Biomass, Ash and Oil.

To be successful at Alfred H Knight you will need to display the following:
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE AND WORK EXPERIENCE
Required Competencies
- Good timekeeping and time management skills.
- Handles challenges in a mature manner.
- Ability to work with minimal supervision.
- Able to work as part of a team as well as independently.
- Full UK Driving License
Responsibilities
- Sample Biomass from Rail and Road lorry deliveries
- Sample Ash and oil from pre determined locations
- Collect samples for the onsite Drax chemistry lab
Required work experience
- Previous work experience as a Sampler or similar will be advantageous.
