What are the responsibilities and job description for the Full-time Toddler Teacher position at Alfred G. Rayner Learning Center?
The Alfred G Rayner Learning Center is a highly regarded program serving infants through Pre-K children. We are seeking an experienced toddler teacher that is hands-on, great communicator (written and verbal), knowledgeable with utilizing the Frog Street Curriculum, and passionate about working with young children. We encourage our teachers to bring their creativity, enthusiasm, and interests into their classroom while equipping them with the necessary resources.
*Must be able to lift up to 35 pounds, maintain a safe, clean and organized classroom, read books daily and engage the children with music, dancing, and play interaction.
- Must have at least 2 years previous experience of PAID work in a child care center, daycare, or preschool (not just babysitting)
- Must live in Louisiana and have lived in Louisiana for the last 5 years
- Must enjoy working with children and be willing to learn
- Must be a team player
- Must be friendly and helpful
