Back/Front Office Medical Assistant with Urology experience needed for busy Urology office located in Anaheim. Small 2 physician friendly office open since 1987 with a committed staff.
Responsibilities:
Responsibilities:
- The duties of this position will include: rooming patients, assisting during examination and procedures, preparing and cleaning treatment rooms and medical instruments.
- Able to assist with Biopsies, Cystoscopies, Uroflow, and other procedures.
- Collecting patient lab reports as needed, sending out labs and urine cultures.
- Multi tasking and assisting in other areas as needed.
- Answer phones as needed
- Schedule patients
Qualifications:
- At least one year Urology experience working a Urology back office.
- Knowledge of insurance groups e.g. Medi-Cal, CalOptima, Medicare, HMO, and PPO.
- Must be bilingual.
- EMR experience required
