We are a busy, patient-centered cardiology and primary care office seeking a reliable and experienced Medical Biller to join our team. This full-time position is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys helping patients, and is confident in handling the full revenue cycle.
This position will need to work in the office. Our office is located in Wilmington, DE.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and send accurate patient statements in a timely manner
- Take payments over the phone and ensure secure, accurate processing
- Assist patients with billing-related questions with clarity and empathy
- Complete prior authorizations for cardiac imaging and follow up as needed
- Download ERAs and post insurance payments
- Review and work on insurance claim denials to resolution
Qualifications:
- 2 years of experience in medical billing; cardiology experience a strong plus
- Familiarity with billing software and electronic health records (EHR)
- Working knowledge of insurance policies and prior authorization processes
- Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
- A team player with a professional and patient-friendly attitude
