This is an on-site, full-time role based in San Francisco, CA, for a Rare Disease Territory Business Manager. The role involves managing and growing relationships with healthcare providers, driving sales and market share of rare disease treatments, and creating opportunities to educate stakeholders on Alfasigma products. The manager will analyze territory performance, develop strategic sales plans, and ensure the attainment of sales goals. The candidate will utilize their knowledge of the rare disease landscape to tailor solutions and strengthen partnerships within the local healthcare community.
- Proven experience in sales and account management, preferably within the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry
- Strong understanding of rare disease markets and therapeutic areas
- Exceptional interpersonal, negotiation, and communication skills
- Ability to analyze market trends and develop effective sales strategies
- Proficiency in CRM tools and reporting software
- Ability to work independently in a field-based capacity
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Life Sciences, or a related field is preferred
- A valid driver’s license and ability to travel within the assigned territory
- Demonstrated commitment to ethical sales practices and compliance with industry standards
- Additional experience in Gastroenterology or Vascular-related fields is a plus
