Future Opening: Life Actuary Intern

• Support Alfa's life product pricing, design, and profitability analysis, including assumptions review and sources of earnings analysis.
• Help develop and enhance Alfa's proprietary R-based actuarial models. Perform user acceptance testing on model changes made by other actuarial staff.
• Support actuarial reserve valuation and financial reporting for Alfa's life and annuity products
• Review and analyze industry white papers, peer-company benchmarking data, and competitive survey data. Present findings to actuarial, underwriting, and analytics staff.

• Rising Junior or Senior in a 4-year university
• Actuarial Science or Mathematics major
• Computer skills and ability to learn new programs (Microsoft Office)
• Good communication skills
• Team player
