Responsibilities- Deliver and pick up merchandise to and from customers primarily within the local Florida area
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of trucks to ensure mechanical, safety, and emergency equipment are in good working order
- Follow all safety procedures, especially when transporting dangerous goods
- Inspect and secure cargo using appropriate equipment such as ropes, chains, and covers
- Maintain accurate logs of working hours, vehicle service, and repair status in compliance with state and federal regulations
- Operate a forklift as needed for loading and unloading cargo
- Work in cold temperature environments as required by certain deliveries
- Be available to work flexible hours, including early mornings, weekends, and overtime as needed
- Valid CDL Class B driver’s license
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Authorization to work in the United States
- Basic conversational English skills
- Must be able to drive vehicles with both automatic and manual transmissions
- Experience driving trucks
- Experience operating a forklift
- Ability to lift and carry loads between 50 and 70 pounds
- Ability to work in cold environments
- Availability to work from Monday to Sunday, starting at 6:00 am, with one or two days off during the week
- Willingness to work overtime as required
