Job Title: Warehouse Operations Associate
Company Overview: Alfa Cantor is a leading EPA Certified Refrigerant Reclaimer specializing in Refrigerant Recovery, Buyback for reclamation, and Sales. We serve HVAC contractors and related businesses nationwide.
Position Overview: We are looking for a dedicated Warehouse Operations Associate to join our team. This role involves managing day-to-day warehouse activities and requires someone with a proactive attitude, strong teamwork skills, and a commitment to safety.
Key Responsibilities:
- Handle shipping and receiving operations with efficiency and accuracy
- Maintain a high standard of safety in compliance with OSHA, DOT, and company regulations
- Safely manage refrigerant cylinders, including handling and sorting packaged refrigerant
- Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks
- Ensure the warehouse remains organized, clean, and orderly
- Perform testing, weighing, sorting, palletizing, stretch wrapping, and banding of cylinders
- Uphold outstanding work performance, attitude, and ethics
- Be on your feet for extended periods as needed
Additional Responsibilities:
- Make deliveries and pickups as required
- Recover refrigerant under the supervision of a qualified EPA 608 technician
- Travel as needed, primarily within Texas but potentially across the USA
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Experience in warehouse operations or a similar role preferred
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Ability to lift up to 150 pounds and work in varying temperatures
- Willingness to undergo a background and security check
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
