Job Title: Tax Manager
Location: Fairfax, VA
Prioritized Must Have Skills of the Tax Manager:
#1. Must have CPA or EA License
#2. Must have Ccorp, Scorp, Partnership & Nhigh Net Worth Tax experience.
#3. Must have experience in reviewing and preparing 1040, corporate, partnership returns, estates and trusts, and multistate return.
#4. No more than 3 jobs in the last 10 years.
Requirements of the Tax Manager:
- Minimum of 6 years of tax accounting experience in a public accounting firm
- CPA or EA certification preferred
- Experience in reviewing and preparing 1040, corporate, partnership returns, estates and trusts, and multistate returns
- Strong tax research skills
- Master's in Taxation (preferred) or willingness to obtain
- Experience with ProSystems Engagement and ProSystems Axcess is beneficial
- Proficient in Excel
- Willingness to train and mentor staff
- Demonstrated strong work ethic
- Excellent communication and interpersonal client relations skills
- Positive attitude and a commitment to delivering outstanding client service
- Ability to work extended hours during tax season (January to April 15th)
