Duties

• Perform thorough cleaning of all areas including offices, restrooms, hallways, and common spaces using appropriate cleaning supplies and equipment.
• Conduct floor care activities such as sweeping, mopping, buffing, and polishing to maintain pristine surfaces.
• Handle custodial tasks like trash removal, restocking supplies, and sanitizing high-touch surfaces regularly.
• Assist with industrial cleaning projects when needed, including deep cleaning of large areas or specialized equipment.
• Support facilities maintenance by reporting repairs or safety hazards promptly to ensure a secure environment.
• Maintain cleanliness during scheduled cleaning routines and adapt to urgent cleaning requests as they arise.
• Use commercial cleaning tools efficiently and follow safety protocols at all times to prevent accidents or damage.

Skills

• Proven experience in janitorial or custodial roles with a strong understanding of cleaning procedures.
• Expertise in floor care techniques including buffing, stripping, sealing, and polishing floors.
• Knowledge of commercial cleaning standards and industrial cleaning practices.
• Ability to operate various cleaning equipment safely and effectively.
• Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills for managing multiple tasks efficiently.
• Physical stamina to perform manual tasks such as lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
