The Director of US gMG HCP Marketing will lead the development and execution of key branded and disease state strategies and tactics to drive demand generation and appropriate utilization of therapy for gMG. The candidate will report to the Senior Director, of US gMG Neurology Marketing.

The Director of US gMG HCP Marketing will lead the development and execution of key branded and disease state strategies and tactics to drive demand generation and appropriate utilization of therapy for gMG. The candidate will report to the Senior Director, of US gMG Neurology Marketing.
You Will Be Responsible For
- Continuing to develop / refine branding, brand value proposition and message platform in partnership with global marketing, medical, HEOR and market access
- Lead Competitive Readiness planning and strategic workstreams to inform strategic brand planning
- Support key customer engagement initiatives (i.e., Ad Boards, Advisory Committees, Key Customer interactions and forums)
- Drive innovative and disruptive Marketing approaches aimed at expanding reach to key customers and broadening awareness and treatment of gMG.
- For key strategic initiatives, lead creation and rollout of new marketing materials, and serve as a lead at field based meetings (AKF, regional meetings)
- Ensure seamless and efficient execution of marketing initiatives to Field Sales, Sales Training, Though Leader Liaisons and other cross functional teams.
- Developing market research and insights plan in coordination with market research team
- Cultivating strong relationships with enterprise cross functional teams to ensure seamless execution and tracking of marketing activities and tactics
- Collaborating closely with Global team and other launch markets to ensure alignment and share best practices
- Representing the US team at key meetings and events
- Managing agency partners, project timelines and budgets.
- Communicating effectively to all levels of Alexion staff and management.
- Working with the highest degree of professionalism and in accordance with the company’s code of Ethics and Business Conduct.
- Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, life sciences, or related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
- 10 years of professional experience in pharmaceutical or biotech industry; can include marketing, agency, or related healthcare experience
- Deep understanding of the US pharmaceutical market and experience in rare diseases is highly desirable.
- Strong strategic thinking, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and influencing abilities.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and effectively manage multiple priorities.
- The duties of this role are generally conducted in an office environment. As is typical of an office-based role, employees must be able, with or without an accommodation to: use a computer; engage in communications via phone, video, and electronic messaging; engage in problem solving and non-linear thought, analysis, and dialogue; collaborate with others; maintain general availability during standard business hours.
