Responsibilities
- Diagnose complex mechanical, electrical, HVAC, suspension, and EV/hybrid drivetrain issues using Hyundai GDS diagnostic tools.
- Perform routine maintenance such as oil changes, tire service, wheel alignments, and suspension repairs including shocks & struts.
- Repair and replace mechanical components including transmissions, powertrain parts, brakes, shocks & struts, and suspension systems.
- Follow manufacturer guidelines for vehicle maintenance and repair procedures specific to Hyundai and other OEM vehicles.
- Maintain detailed service records, complete auto estimating tasks, and ensure all work meets quality standards and safety regulations.
- Proven dealership experience with Hyundai or other OEM brands is highly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of automotive electrical systems, schematics, ADAS technology, and auto body repair techniques.
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and diagnostic software used in automotive repair.
- Familiarity with heavy equipment mechanics and auto estimating processes is a plus.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly to clients.
- Ability to interpret technical manuals and schematics efficiently while adhering to safety standards.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- 2 years of automotive technician/mechanic experience required (Dealership experience preferred; Hyundai/Kia experience is a huge plus).
- ASE certifications and/or Hyundai Factory Certifications preferred
- Must possess own basic automotive repair hand/power tools and toolbox.
- Ability to operate modern diagnostic software, tablets, and dealership management systems.
