Our boutique design studio is searching for a polished, friendly front-desk concierge to join our team. The ideal candidate will be highly organized and professional and enjoy interacting with clients on a daily basis. This role is in-person at the studio and front-facing. You will be responsible for greeting clients when they come to our studio, checking them in for appointments, offering and filling water and coffee for clients, maintaining clean workspaces and showrooms throughout the studio, answering the phone, and triaging email communications. Good communication and a good attitude are extremely important!
This is a full time or part-time role with availability for about 25-40 hours of work a week, including Saturdays. Reception hours are Tuesdays through Saturdays 10am - 6pm, so availability during those hours is imperative.
Duties
- Greet guests warmly and assist them with check-in and check-out procedures.
- Answer phone calls promptly, providing information and addressing inquiries with professionalism.
- Manage reservations and maintain accurate records in the system.
- Perform clerical tasks such as filing, data entry, and maintaining office organization.
- Coordinate calendar management for appointments and meetings as needed.
- Ensure the front desk area is clean, organized, and welcoming at all times.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless client experiences.
Skills
- Strong customer support skills with an emphasis on delivering excellent service.
- Previous experience in front desk operations or hospitality is preferred.
- Proficient phone etiquette to handle calls effectively and courteously.
- Exceptional customer service skills to address client needs efficiently.
- Computer literacy with the ability to navigate various software applications.
- Clerical skills for managing files and documentation accurately.
- Time management abilities to prioritize tasks effectively in a busy environment.
- Office management experience is a plus, ensuring smooth daily operations.
