Description
The Summer Temp Technology Technician provides division-wide support to the Student Helpdesk team to clean, fix and test student chromebooks and chargers. Chromebook cart maintenance.
Essential Functions
- To assist with simple problem solving.
- Recognize, identify and document hardware and/or software malfunctions.
- Site visits to assigned ACPS school sites (requires valid driver’s license). You might travel to multiple sites a day.
- Ability to schedule activities; gather and/or collate data; and use basic, job-related equipment and lift job-related equipment up to 50lbs.
- Working knowledge and understanding of Chrome OS devices (e.g. able to power up and down and take verbal directions). Must be able to take and follow directions well.
