Duties
- Assist the Floor Manager in overseeing daily restaurant operations, ensuring smooth service flow from kitchen to table
- Supervise and motivate front-of-house staff, including servers, runners, bussers, and hosts, to deliver outstanding customer service
- Support staff training and development initiatives to uphold service standards and enhance team skills
- Manage shift schedules, monitor staffing levels, and coordinate break times to optimize operational efficiency
- Ensure compliance with food safety standards, health regulations, and company policies across all areas of food handling and service
- Oversee inventory control procedures, including stock rotation, ordering supplies, and minimizing waste
- Handle customer inquiries or complaints promptly to maintain high satisfaction levels
- Assist with cash handling procedures using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for accurate transactions
Skills
- Strong knowledge of POS systems including Toast for efficient order processing and sales tracking
- Excellent leadership skills with prior supervising or management experience in hospitality or food service environments
- Deep understanding of food safety protocols, food handling practices, and sanitation standards
- Ability to train staff effectively in food production, customer service, and operational procedures
- Experience with inventory control, budgeting, and food management strategies in a hospitality setting
- Skilled in supervising shift management activities such as scheduling, staffing adjustments, and quality assurance
- Familiarity with catering services, banquet operations, or hotel food service environments is a plus
- Exceptional communication skills for interviewing potential team members and conducting ongoing training sessions
- Strong organizational abilities to oversee restaurant operations while maintaining a focus on customer satisfaction and team development

Starting pay: $30/hour
Required Shifts will be Wednesdays and Thursday evenings.
Additional shifts may be available on certain weeks as well as serving shifts if interested.
At least 1 year of restaurant floor management required.
