We are seeking an ambitious and strategic Sales Manager to manage and significantly grow business with a portfolio of strategic, high-value accounts within the Food & Beverage industry. This role is critical to translating our technical ingredient expertise into successful, long-term commercial partnerships.


Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute comprehensive account plans focused on driving revenue and gross margin growth across the portfolio of specialty ingredients.
  • Achieve and exceed defined sales and profitability targets by successfully introducing new ingredients and driving projects from concept to commercialization.
  • Identify, quantify, and secure new business opportunities by leveraging market trends (e.g., clean label, sugar reduction, plant-based) and the unique value proposition of the clients products.
  • Lead complex contract negotiations including pricing, terms, and supply agreements, ensuring alignment with corporate financial objectives.
  • Maintain a high level of technical knowledge regarding the functionality and application of specialty ingredients.
  • Monitor competitive activities, market dynamics, and regulatory changes to adjust account strategies proactively and maintain a competitive edge.
  • Provide accurate and timely sales forecasts and pipeline updates using the company CRM system.


Qualifications

  • Minimum of 5 years of successful B2B sales/account management experience within the Food & Beverage Specialty Ingredient industry.
  • Strong understanding of formulation, product development cycles, and ingredient applications, particularly in the areas of sugar reduction and functional nutrition.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Chemistry, Business, or a related technical/commercial field.
  • Demonstrated ability to create and execute strategic account plans, exceptional negotiation skills, and proficiency with CRM tools.

Salary : $100,000 - $180,000
