Duties
- Safely operate Class B dump truck in accordance with all federal, state, and local regulations.
- Conduct pre-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure mechanical soundness and compliance with safety standards.
- Perform routine vehicle maintenance tasks or report issues promptly to ensure optimal vehicle performance.
- Follow all traffic laws, safety procedures, and company policies during daily operations.
Skills
- Strong mechanical knowledge to perform basic vehicle inspections and troubleshoot minor issues.
- Experience driving large trucks or vehicles.
- Proven ability in commercial driving with a valid Class B CDL license; additional endorsements are a plus.
- Excellent communication skills in English for interacting with passengers, dispatchers, and team members.
- Customer service-oriented mindset with the ability to handle diverse situations professionally.
- Previous delivery driver experience is advantageous for understanding route planning and time management.
