Key Responsibilities
- Provide assistance with activities of daily living, including personal hygiene, grooming, and dressing
- Support meal preparation and maintain a clean and organized living space
- Implement individualized care plans and maintain accurate documentation
- Monitor and report changes in health status or behavior
- Encourage and facilitate participation in social and community activities
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure continuity of care
- Maintain a safe, respectful, and supportive environment at all times
- Perform additional duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED) required
- Valid driver’s license required
- Ability to lift up to 75 pounds and perform physical job duties
- Successful completion of background screening
- Basic computer proficiency
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in direct support or caregiving
- Proficiency in American Sign Language (ASL)
- Current CPR and First Aid certification
