Direct Service Worker - Day Shifts

Full-time Position: DAYS Shift - 12 hrs

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation.
• Monitor and document consumers’ health, behaviors, and daily activities in electronic records.
• Assist with daily living tasks such as cooking, bathing, grooming, and hygiene.
• Support non-ambulatory individuals with mobility and positioning.
• Administer medications, take vital signs, and provide basic life-saving care when needed.
• Accompany consumers to appointments and community outings.
• Engage individuals in recreational and social activities based on their care plans.
• Use appropriate behavior management techniques.
• Maintain cleanliness in living and common areas; perform laundry duties.
• Participate in required training and follow assigned work schedules.
• Operate company vehicles occasionally to transport consumers.
• Report health or behavioral changes promptly to nursing staff.
• Perform other duties as assigned to ensure high-quality, consistent care.
• Other assigned duties.

Qualifications

• Experience in direct care is a plus, but not required
• High school diploma or GED
• Valid driver’s license
• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and perform physical tasks
• Clean background check
• CPR and First Aid certification (preferred)
• Basic computer skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $12.00 per hour
