Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Caregiver role based in Charlotte, NC. The Caregiver will provide hands-on support with activities of daily living such as bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, and mobility assistance. Daily responsibilities include preparing meals, assisting with feeding as needed, light housekeeping, laundry, and helping clients with errands or transportation to appointments. The role also involves monitoring client well-being, reporting any changes to supervisors, following care plans, and documenting services provided. Caregivers are expected to offer companionship, engage clients in safe activities, and maintain a professional, respectful, and patient-centered approach at all times.
Qualifications
- Ability to provide safe, compassionate personal care, including assistance with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility.
- Experience with basic home support tasks such as meal preparation, light housekeeping, laundry, and running errands.
- Strong interpersonal skills, including clear communication, empathy, patience, and the ability to build trust with clients and families.
- Reliability in following care plans, documenting services, observing changes in client condition, and reporting concerns promptly.
- Basic understanding of infection control, safety procedures, and proper body mechanics when assisting with transfers and mobility.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred; completion of caregiver, CNA, or home health aide training is an advantage.
- Ability to work on-site in client homes in Charlotte, NC, including the capacity to stand, walk, and assist with physical tasks throughout the shift.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation preferred; willingness to travel locally to client locations as assigned.
- Background check clearance and authorization to work in the United States.
