Senior Accountant (Miami, FL): Our client, a privately held real estate investment and development firm, is seeking a Senior Accountant to join their growing team in Miami. This role will support accounting operations, financial reporting, and investor communications across a diverse portfolio of real estate assets.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee general ledger, AP/AR, payroll, and reconciliations
- Prepare monthly and quarterly GAAP financial statements
- Manage consolidations across entities and joint ventures
- Support investor reporting, capital account tracking, and waterfall distributions
- Handle lender reporting, compliance monitoring, and covenant tracking
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting, audits, and tax filings
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s in Accounting or Finance; CPA preferred
- 3 years of accounting experience
- Strong GAAP knowledge and experience with consolidations
- Familiar with Sage Intacct, AppFolio, Yardi, or similar platforms
