Private Equity Associate - Atlanta
We are partnering with a middle-market private equity firm seeking to add a Private Equity Associate to its Atlanta-based investment team.
The firm is a generalist investor that partners with founder- and family-owned businesses across a range of industries. The team operates with a hands-on, execution-oriented culture, providing Associates with meaningful responsibility and exposure across the full investment life-cycle from initial evaluation through exit.
This role offers direct involvement in transaction execution, due diligence, financial analysis, and ongoing portfolio company support.
Responsibilities
- Support the evaluation and execution of new investment opportunities
- Build and maintain detailed financial models and valuation analyses
- Lead and coordinate diligence work-streams alongside advisors and management teams
- Prepare investment committee materials and presentations
- Assist with portfolio company monitoring and value creation initiatives
Requirements
- 2–4 years of experience in private equity or investment banking
- Strong transaction and deal execution experience
- Advanced financial modelling and analytical skills
- Ability to independently evaluate and discuss investment opportunities
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail
