Private Credit Analyst/Associate | San Diego, CA
An elite private investment firm is seeking an Investment Analyst to join its growing credit investment team as it closes a new fund. This is a highly hands-on, entrepreneurial role offering significant responsibility, autonomy, and exposure to the full deal lifecycle.
The Analyst will play a critical role in underwriting, financial analysis, and portfolio monitoring, serving as the backbone of deal execution and reporting. The role is based in San Diego and supports an active deal pipeline as the firm closes a new fund.
Candidate Profile
- 2–3 years of experience in Investment Banking, Private Credit, or a related field
- Strong credit and underwriting experience required
- Solid quantitative and analytical capabilities such as experience with programming tools (e.g., Python, SQL, or Excel/VBA), and the ability to analyze data, validate assumptions, and support credit and investment decision-making.
- Advanced financial modeling skills
