What are the responsibilities and job description for the Water/Wastewater Project Manager position at Alexander Associates Technical Recruitment?
I’m representing a leading consultancy that’s looking to strengthen their Water/Wastewater team with an experienced Senior Project Engineer/Project Manager. Someone who has either/or inside/outside the fence experience, driving major treatment facility, distribution and collection system design projects across Texas.
Job Specifications:
- Support design of water distribution and wastewater collection systems, including:
- Pipelines, pump stations, storage tanks, and reservoirs
- Interceptor and outfall systems for wastewater networks
- Prepare design reports, drawings, plans, sections, and technical specifications
- Perform modelling, calculations, and technical analysis under senior supervision
- Coordinate with internal disciplines and assist with project scheduling and budgets
- Participate in client and agency meetings as part of the project team
Key Requirements:
- 5 years’ experience in water and wastewater infrastructure design
- Solid understanding of hydraulic modelling, pump station, and pipeline design
- Design software experience (Civil 3D, Sewer CAD, WaterCAD etc)
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Project, PowerPoint)
- PE license in TX
- B.S. in Civil, Environmental, Mechanical, or Biological Engineering
