I’m representing a leading consultancy that’s looking to strengthen their Water Resources team with an experienced Project Manager based in San Antonio.
This role is focused on outside the fence, underground water infrastructure, designing and delivering projects such as pipelines, trunk mains, collection systems, sewers, lift/pump stations, and distribution networks across municipal water and wastewater programs in Texas.

Job Specifications:
• Lead and manage multiple water/wastewater projects of varying size and complexity
• Oversee scope, budgets, schedules, and all contractual obligations
• Drive planning, design, and construction-phase engineering for distribution, collection, and treatment-related infrastructure
• Provide technical leadership on underground civil works, including pipeline alignments, hydraulic design, pump station design, and system upgrades
• Maintain strong engagement with municipal clients and build long-term relationships
• Manage project financials, ensuring consistent profitability and performance
• Lead and mentor engineering staff, supporting professional development and team growth
• Coordinate subconsultants, support BD activities, and contribute to proposal development
• Promote high standards of communication, collaboration, and project delivery throughout the team
Key Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Environmental, Chemical, or Mechanical Engineering
• Texas Professional Engineer (PE) license
• 10 years’ experience in municipal water/wastewater/reuse design
• Strong background delivering underground infrastructure projects (pipelines, sewers, pump/lift stations, collection/distribution systems)
• Demonstrated project management experience
• Excellent client-facing communication and relationship-building skills
• Ability to solve complex technical challenges and work collaboratively across teams

Salary : $135,000 - $165,000
