What are the responsibilities and job description for the Speech-Language Pathologist position at Alex Speech Therapy?
We're seeking a Speech Language Pathologist to help treat children in our small but growing practice. The ideal candidate will have a background in working with pediatric patients, have previous experience, and enjoy helping children overcome communication and feeding barriers. The Speech Language Pathologist will have support available but should also be able to work independently. We believe in a family centered approach to help out clients thrive and meet their goals. Massachusetts state license and CCC from ASHA are required at this time. Experience with pediatric feeding and tongue thrust is preferred but not required.
Responsibilities:
- Providing treatment with patients who have articulation, oral motor, feeding, language, and social pragamtic disorders.
- Plan treatment programs to improve language, communication, and feeding/swallowing abilities.
- Conduct speech-language treatment sessions and be able to communicate with caregivers.
- Be a team member in a pediatric private practice setting.
Job Types: Part-time, Per diem
Pay: $ $55.00 per hour
