Responsibilities
- Perform shoe repairs including sole replacement, stitching, and cosmetic restoration to restore shoes to their original condition or improve their appearance
- Conduct textile cleaning tasks such as dry cleaning, garment repairs, and fabric care to ensure clothing and accessories look their best
- Utilize sewing machines skillfully for stitching, textile alterations, and garment construction projects
- Apply steam pressing techniques to achieve crisp finishes on garments and footwear components
- Provide excellent customer service by assessing repair needs, explaining procedures, and ensuring customer satisfaction
- Execute shoe cleaning processes to remove dirt, stains, and scuffs using appropriate methods
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the repair workspace while adhering to safety standards
Qualifications
- Proven experience in shoe repair, textile cleaning, garment repairs, and fabric care knowledge
- Proficiency with sewing machines and stitching techniques for various materials
