Alex’s Pizza is bringing our famous Philly flavors to the Ocean City Boardwalk, and we’re looking for reliable, motivated Line Cooks to join our kitchen team. As a Line Cook, you will play a key role in preparing our menu items quickly, consistently, and with the high quality our brand is known for. Responsibilities
- Prepare ingredients, station setup, and daily prep to ensure a smooth service
- Cook menu items including appetizers, sides, and specialty items according to Alex’s Pizza recipes and standards
- Assist Pizza Makers during busy boardwalk rushes
- Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of your station, adhering to all food safety and sanitation guidelines
- Restock supplies, rotate ingredients, and complete prep lists
- Communicate clearly with the kitchen team to ensure accuracy and speed
- Support large orders and seasonal crowd surges with strong time management
Skills & Qualifications
- Previous line cook or kitchen experience strongly preferred
- Strong understanding of food safety, sanitation practices, and proper food handling
- Ability to work efficiently in a high-volume, fast-paced environment
- Good communication skills and teamwork mindset
- Ability to follow recipes and maintain portion consistency
- Familiarity with kitchen tools, fryers, flat-tops, ovens, and prep equipment
- Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and reliability are musts
