What are the responsibilities and job description for the Bilingual Immigration Attorney position at Alex Chen Law Group?
Boutique law firm in Rowland Heights is seeking a bilingual immigration attorney. Major responsibilities include, but not limited to:
- Managing a high case load of immigration cases, including immigrant visas (both family-based and employment-based), nonimmigrant visas (L-1, H-1, E-1/2, R-1) and naturalization.
- Preparing petition letters and collect/review documents in support of above mentioned immigration cases.
- Communicating with clients and answering clients' questions
- Performing consultations and providing research.
- Represent clients in immigration court proceedings by preparing case files, evidence, and witnesses for hearings. Develop and present arguments. Prepare clients for court appearances.
Qualifications:
- Fluency in English and Mandarin Chinese is a must
- Excellent spoken and written communication skills
- Strong legal research and writing skills
- 2 years of experience in business and investment related immigration cases preferred
- 2 years of experience in removal proceeding cases preferred
- Bar admission in any state (good standing) but preferably California
Salary depends on experience. We provide comprehensive and systematic training.
