Mission Operations IV

As the Site Manager, you will lead a 24/7 operational team, ensuring seamless IT and SATCOM service delivery, network performance, and team coordination. You will also serve as the primary point of contact for the EPS OMII program at Clear SFS, responsible for contract compliance, local stakeholder engagement, and aligning operations with the larger strategic objectives of our government partners.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
• Leadership & Site Management: Lead and develop the site team, including network engineers, ensuring cohesive operations in a remote environment. Foster a positive and mission-focused team culture.
• Operational Oversight: Manage daily satellite payload operations, user authorizations, and system performance; ensure smooth functioning of SATCOM operations aligned with mission-critical needs.
• Strategic Customer Interface: Serve as the primary onsite representative for high-level customer interactions, providing clear status updates, resolving issues, and advocating for site needs in line with customer goals.
• Contract & Compliance Management: Oversee contract execution and ensure all site operations align with contract requirements and program objectives.
• Team Training & Certification: Maintain and update certification and training plans for team members, including onboarding for new systems and technologies.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate regularly with government and other stakeholders, representing Clear SFS interests and promoting coordinated efforts with other EPS locations and government entities.
• Process Improvement & SOP Development: Support the development and refinement of operational procedures, ensuring efficiency, safety, and alignment with the broader EPS mission.
• Integrated Logistics & Product Support: Perform Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) and Integrated Product Support (IPS) activities, including creating and maintaining the EPS-R Integrated Support Plan.
• System Engineering & Technical Analysis: Provide technical analysis, support system engineering assessments for new and emerging technologies, and offer recommendations to enhance operational readiness.
• Functional Area Monitor (FAM): Maintain oversight of Security functional area resources

EDUCATION/TRAINING
• Must hold a IAM II (CompTia Sec ) certificate
• Minimum: Bachelor’s Degree
• Preferred: Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
• Management Experience: Demonstrated experience in leading and managing complex operations especially in remote or geographically separated sites
EXPERIENCE
• Experience: 10 years in management and operations within DoD/USG strategic communities, with experience in remote or site-specific management preferred
• SATCOM Expertise: Prior experience as a SATCOM operator/maintainer
• Strategic Vision: Demonstrated ability to support DoD, CJCS, USSTRATCOM, and USSF strategies
• Cross-Functional Leadership: Capable of leading cross-functional teams across DoD, particularly in a remote site context
• Communication Skills: Exceptional written and verbal communicator skilled in customer relations, facilitating meetings, and delivering effective briefing

SKILLS/ABILITIES
• Team Formation & Management: Skilled in forming and managing teams in remote or isolated settings, aligning resources, and ensuring operational cohesion
• Project & Resource Coordination: Ability to synchronize multiple projects, effectively allocate resources, and coordinate efforts across various operational units and offices
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
• Must be able to stand and sit for prolonged periods.
• Must be able to bend, stoop, climb, reach, stretch, kneel, squat.
• Must be able to perform repetitive tasks or motions for prolonged periods
• Must be able to carry up to 50 pounds at a time and push and/or pull 50-pound loads at a time.
• Must have sufficient physical strength, balance, hand-eye coordination, and stamina to complete various tasks.
• Must be able to work in confined spaces, ascend or descend ladders, and/or traverse scaffolding.
• Must be able to work in personal protective equipment including but not limited to safety glasses, fall-protection harness, protective footwear, hard hat, gloves, hearing protection.

WORK ENVIRONMENT
• This is an Onsite position that requires work to be performed onsite at an Aleut location.
• Working indoors in an office environment.
• Working both indoors and outdoors, exposed to all weather conditions and potentially austere environments.
• Potentially exposed to electrical or mechanical hazards, elevated work areas, and confined spaces.
• Potential exposure to electromagnetic frequency radiation (EMFR).

SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS
• Must possess a valid and unrestricted driver’s license.
• Must be able to pass pre-employment background screening.
• Must be able to pass random drug screenings.
• Must possess and be able to maintain a Top Secret with SCI eligibility clearance.
• Must be able to be cleared for base or site access.
• Must be a US Citizen.
• Must be available for a flexible work schedule to include nights, weekends, and holidays.
