What are the responsibilities and job description for the RESIDENTIAL SUPPORT SPECIALIST-PT position at ALETHEIA HOUSE?
Position Summary:
The residential support specialist is responsible for appropriate supervision and day-to-day functions of our residential supportive services. The residential support specialist works closely with the program manager to accomplish the mission and service goals of Aletheia House.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide appropriate supervision of residential clients, including supervision of work assignments, meal preparation, and recreational activities
- Responsible for completing room inspections for compliance checks
- Enforce program rules in a fair and constant manner
- Properly document activities on clients and maintain other records as directed
- Document and assist clients with medications to ensure proper usage
- Transport program participants to NA/AA meetings, store runs, and other recreational activities
- Perform other duties as assigned by the nursing coordinator
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree required for Full time positions
- High School Diploma or G.E.D. for Part time positions
- Must be able to become MAC certified
- Valid driver license and good driving record, required
Travel Requirements:
- If travel is required, must be willing to use and have your own personal transportation.
- Mileage reimbursement for personal use of vehicle is included
