Alesig is seeking a Lead Web Developer to support a dynamic, mission-driven training environment at Fort Lee, VA. This role plays a key part in creating and maintaining websites that enable classroom instruction, training exercises, and operational simulations.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Enterprise web development and administration.
- Microsoft SharePoint design, administration, and maintenance.
- Content management workflows and permissions administration.
- Ensure Section 508 accessibility compliance.
- Web graphics, multimedia, and image optimization.
- Web security and information release compliance.
- Lead CASCOM G-6 web and SharePoint operations in compliance with Army policy.
- Coordinate with Government content owners and leadership.
- Ensure web content is accurate, current, accessible, and authorized for release.
- Balance usability, aesthetics, and regulatory compliance.
- Provide subject-matter guidance on web architecture and digital strategy.
- Maintain continuity and documentation of web services.
- All other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- 5 years of relevant Web Development experience (HTML, JavaScript, CSS)
- 3 years of SharePoint design and administration experience.
- Active Secret (or above) Security Clearance.
- Strong communication skills are required.
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field, or six years of related experience.
