Director of Marketing & Communications

Alert Rescue LLC is seeking a Director of Marketing & Communications to lead strategic messaging, strengthen brand presence, and drive measurable growth.

The Director of Marketing & Communications will plan, direct, and oversee the company’s marketing and communications strategy to support business objectives and enhance reputation. This role is responsible for building cohesive campaigns, aligning messaging across channels, and ensuring communications are timely, consistent, and impactful.

In this leadership position, the selected candidate will partner with cross-functional teams to translate insights into actionable plans, manage key priorities from concept through execution, and help shape a brand voice that resonates with the communities and audiences Alert Rescue LLC serves.

• Develop and execute an integrated marketing and communications strategy aligned to company goals, brand standards, and audience needs.

• Lead planning and delivery of marketing campaigns, content initiatives, and public communications across relevant channels.

• Establish messaging frameworks and ensure brand consistency across all materials, platforms, and stakeholder touchpoints.

• Oversee marketing performance tracking, analysis, and reporting to inform strategy improvements and resource allocation.

• Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to support launches, announcements, and reputation-building efforts.

• Manage team workflows and vendor/agency relationships as applicable, including performance expectations and deliverable oversight.

• Proven experience leading marketing and communications strategy with responsibility for results and measurable outcomes.

• Strong ability to develop clear, compelling messaging and translate business objectives into integrated campaigns.

• Demonstrated leadership skills, including managing priorities, guiding teams, and driving accountability.

• Excellent communication, writing, and presentation abilities, with strong attention to detail.

• Ability to work cross-functionally and manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.

• Experience in nonprofit, public safety, emergency response, or mission-driven organizations.

• Familiarity with reputation management and stakeholder communications.

• Experience managing multi-channel content plans and campaign calendars from planning through delivery.

• Demonstrated ability to interpret performance data and apply insights to optimize campaigns.

• Track record of building brand awareness and strengthening audience engagement over time.

Annual salary: $160,000 - $230,000
