Role Description
This is a part-time hybrid role for a Bi-Lingual Licensed Drug and Alcohol Counselor, based out of Santa Cruz, CA, with flexibility for remote work. The counselor will conduct assessments, facilitate group and individual counseling sessions, maintain accurate records, and provide resources to participants in accordance with state guidelines. They will work with a diverse client base, utilizing bilingual communication skills to effectively support participants through their program requirements.
Qualifications
- Active licensure as a Drug and Alcohol Counselor in the State of California
- Fluent in both English and Spanish to provide effective support to a diverse participant base
- Strong counseling skills, including the ability to lead group and individual therapy sessions
- Experience with or knowledge of substance abuse assessment and treatment methodologies
- Excellent documentation and administrative skills, ensuring compliance with all state regulatory requirements
- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage a part-time hybrid work schedule
