JOB SUMMARY
The primary responsibility of the Payment Processing Specialist is to accurately process payments, monitor account transactions and identify any discrepancies or issues. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of financial transactions and ensure smooth payment operations to support our customer billing and account management process.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
· Daily processing of AR Cash Receipts
· Process credit card payments
· Investigation of any unmatched or adjusted cash receipts in a timely manner
· Ensure all incoming payments are received and processed.
· Maintain precise record of all incoming payments
· Reconcile any irregularities in receipts
· Other duties and projects required by Controller
JOB QUALIFICATIONS
· Proven experience in payment processing, AR or related finance roles.
· Strong understanding of financial transactions including the ability to distinguish between debit and credit.
· Proficient in using accounting software and Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Word, Outlook)
· Organized, analytical, detail-oriented individual with advanced problem solving skills
· Excellent oral and written communication skills
· Proficient in navigating Window Explorer
· Proven ability to work both independently and collaboratively
· Data entry skills along with a knack for numbers
· High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
· Ability to keep data confidential
