Here's what you'd do:
- The client is transitioning its global payroll environment to the SAP ECP platform.
- Initial assignment primarily focused on testing SAP ECP payroll results in preparation for transition to production.
- After implementation, the individual will transition to operational support for US Payroll.
- Post-implementation activities analyzes, audits, reconciles, and resolves complex payroll processing and employee payroll issues to ensure smooth payroll processing with timely and accurate results.
- Interprets pay policies (vacation, benefits, savings, LOA, disability, workers compensation, union contracts, government regulations, withholding exemptions) and correctly calculates and applies appropriate amounts/deductions to the various accounts.
- Ensures payroll outputs such as statements, reports, and payments comply with company policy, generally accepted accounting principles and federal, state, and local regulations.
- Researches and interprets federal and state regulatory requirements and resolves tax, withholding, garnishment, and wage/hour issues for payroll processing.
- Responds to audit, legal, and regulatory inquiries.
- Documents payroll processes and procedures; may train payroll department staff.
- Works with system programmers to achieve solutions or administer company payroll system with outside service providers.

- Bachelor's Degree.
- Minimum of 4 years experience with SAP ECP OR SAP On Premises Payroll (Implementation or operations).
- Minimum of 4 years experience with House Payroll.
- Minimum of 4 years of Payroll system implementation experience to include design, build, test, train, or document.
- Minimum of 4 years experience working effectively in a virtual environment.
- Certified Payroll Professional (APA).
