What You'll Do:
- Perform mechanical assembly operations according to blueprints, engineering drawings, specifications, and work instructions.
- Assemble mechanical components, parts, and subassemblies using hand tools, power tools, fixtures, and other manufacturing equipment.
- Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, diagrams, and written instructions.
- Determine and follow the proper sequence of operations for assigned assembly tasks.
- Set up and adjust tools, fixtures, and equipment as required to complete assembly operations.
- Measure and verify dimensions using precision measuring tools to ensure assemblies meet specified tolerances.
- Install, align, fasten, and secure mechanical components and hardware.
- Inspect completed work for proper fit, alignment, workmanship, and compliance with specifications.
- Identify straightforward assembly problems and make appropriate adjustments or escalate issues to the supervisor.
Job Requirements
What You'll Bring:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Minimum 2 years experience of mechanical assembly in a manufacturing environment
