Acara Solutions seeks highly qualified candidates to work onsite with our client in Londonderry, NH. Interested?
Here's what you'd do:
- Perform precision mechanical inspections from dimensioned drawings using calipers, micrometers, surface plate, height gages, gage blocks, gage pins, optical comparator, toolmakers microscope, coordinate measuring machine, and other standard inspection equipment.
- Perform visual inspections of electronic assemblies using microscopes & magnifiers.
- Perform first article inspections and generate detailed reports when necessary.
- Communicate discrepant findings verbally and via written discrepancy reports to Supplier Quality Engineers/Technicians (SQE (Supplier Quality Engineer)/SQT (System Qualification Tool)).
- Independently perform source inspection at local suppliers.
- Participate in MRB meetings to support SQEs (Supplier Quality Engineers)/SQTs (System Qualification Tools).
- Accurately maintain records and documents in accordance with policies and procedures
- Identify equipment needs for jobs requiring new or custom metrology tools.
- Identify Dock to Stock (DTS) candidates per established procedures. Present nominations to SQE.
- Work closely with buyers, planners, design engineers, manufacturing engineers, quality engineers, and program leadership.
- Support SQE (Supplier Quality Engineer)/SQT (System Qualification Tool) with routine supplier audits when necessary.
Here's what you'll get:
Pay: $27.00-$28.00/hr.
Hours: 9/80 Reg.
Length: Temp to Perm (12 months).

- High School Diploma or GED with 6 years of experience.
- Minimum of 6 years of experience interpreting drawings/blueprints.
- Minimum of 6 years of experience in Inspection tooling: gauges, calipers, micrometers.
- Associate Degree with 2 years of experience.
- Experience maintaining records and documents in accordance with policies and procedures.
- IPC-A-610 Certification.
- Hexagon CMM certification (PC-DMIS software).
- Keyence Vision system programming experience.
- Optical lens inspection experience.
- Must be able to work in a team environment with Engineers and Technicians.
- Able to also work independently at times.
- Self-motivated/must take initiative.
