Job Title: Electronics Test Technician
Location: Alpharetta, GA.
Employment Type: Temp to Direct (12 Months)

Compensation: $31.25-$43.26/ Hour
Schedule: 9/80 1ST Shift
About the Opportunity:
  • Perform depot-level, component-level repair of military avionics displays and control units for platforms such as C-130J, F-35, Apache, and Blackhawk
  • Troubleshoot circuit card assemblies (CCAs) down to individual components using schematics and diagnostic procedures
  • Conduct hands-on electronics repair work on complex multi-layer PCBs in a bench environment
  • Utilize diagnostic tools (oscilloscopes, multimeters, freeze spray, etc.) to identify and resolve faults
  • Replace defective electronic components, including resistors, capacitors, ICs, and connectors
  • Ensure all repairs meet depot-level maintenance and quality standards.

What You'll Do:
  • Perform component-level diagnosis and repair of CCAs using schematics, test procedures, and diagnostic equipment
  • Use oscilloscopes, multimeters, function generators, and spectrum analyzers to isolate faults to specific components
  • Read and interpret electronic schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals
  • Perform continuity checks, voltage measurements, and signal tracing on populated circuit boards
  • Identify defective resistors, capacitors, diodes, transistors, ICs, and connectors
  • Document repairs using depot-level maintenance procedures
  • Work at an electronics repair bench with ESD controls.
Job Requirements
What You'll Bring:
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 8 years of experience with bench test equipment: oscilloscopes, DMMs, power supplies, signal generators
  • 8 years of experience with printed circuit board repair
  • 8 years of hands-on experience in electronics repair/manufacturing

What Sets You Apart:
  • Associate's Degree
  • Bachelor's Degree in Electronics Technology
  • Military avionics maintenance background (2M, AT, AE, 94F MOS)
  • Experience with military displays (AMLCD, CRT, LED)
  • Background in electrical testing and debugging
  • Military electronics training (avionics, radar, communications)
  • Ability to read electronic schematics and circuit diagrams
  • Component identification and replacement skills
  • Understanding of analog and digital circuit theory
  • Computer Skills needed
  • Ability to read and follow instructions
  • Good communication skills
  • Problem Solving
  • Teamwork
  • Strong Attention to detail.
Additional Information:
  • Requires the ability to obtain an Active Secret Clearance
  • Upon offer of employment, the individual will be subject to a background check.
  • You will work at an electronics repair bench in a temperature-controlled environment using:
  • Hot air rework equipment
  • Stereo microscopes
  • Oscilloscopes and logic analyzers
  • In-circuit testers
  • X-ray inspection equipment
  • ESD-safe workstations
  • In compliance with federal law, all persons hired will be required to verify identity and eligibility to work in the United States and to complete the required employment eligibility verification form upon hire.
