What You'll Do:
- Perform basic mechanical and electrical assembly tasks, including wire cutting, stripping, crimping, routing, and dressing.
- Learn to interpret mechanical drawings, electrical schematics, and wiring diagrams.
- Safely use hand, power, torque, and basic electrical testing tools, including a multimeter.
- Follow digital work instructions and standardized processes while maintaining quality and productivity.
- Support EHS, 6S, housekeeping, quality, and continuous improvement initiatives while completing required technical and workmanship training.
Job Requirements
What You'll Bring:
- High School Diploma or GED
- 2 years of experience with wiring mechanical components, MCC- part sizes (without the copper involved)
What Sets You Apart:
- Relevant manufacturing, assembly, electrical, vocational, or apprenticeship experience.
- Basic mechanical aptitude and ability to learn mechanical drawing interpretation.
- Has the ability to learn
- Basic knowledge of the environment
- Someone that can come in and learn at entry level that has basic mechanical and electrical engagement.
- Low voltage compartments knowledge
- Good attitude that wants to learn
- Ability to safely use common hand, power, and torque tools after training.
- Ability to learn DIN rail and cable duct processing requirements.
- Basic electrical assembly knowledge and ability to learn schematic and wiring diagram interpretation.
- Ability to complete wire-processing certification and perform basic cutting, stripping, crimping, dressing, and routing.
- Ability to follow standardized work instructions and produce quality assemblies under supervision.
- Ability to learn multimeter use for point-to-point verification and basic testing.
- Basic computer skills and ability to use digital work instructions, SieOps, execution tasks, and timekeeping tools.
- Commitment to EHS, quality, 6S, housekeeping, and continuous improvement.
- Ability to complete product, workmanship, and UL 508A training.
